Website ideas are the foundations of every website we visit, be it Google, Facebook, Twitter or any other. They all started with one idea. And although the number of different types of websites has grown significantly in the last decade, there is always room for another idea.
Unique types of websites bring something new to market, they attract a lot of visitors and can turn out to be very profitable and worthy. Here are some website ideas of my own. I believe some of these could prove to be valuable so use them if you wish:
- A website about BS or Fake news. It could be an e-zine with rss feeds and user comments.
- A wicked website where users predict forthcoming news and earn a higher rank/charisma for correct predictions. However, they can't make multiple predictions about the same topic.
- A spin-the-bottle website where there are multiple connected users and a random one is selected to answer a 'truth' question which the previous person has asked. This website could optionally be expanded to have the 'dare' option where the user is dared to do something feasible then has to upload a picture or video to prove it.
- A cool website where members build animated films. A member will create the first frame then the next member will buld upon or edit it to make the next frame and so on.
- A 'build-a-beat' website where users can produce a musical beat with provided controls and parameters. This idea could be developed so that users could use other users' beats to produce music or rap songs!
- A good luck website where people post why they need luck and thousands of readers wish them the luck they need.
- An energy-friendly website which its server is partly powered by a hamster and its wheel and visitors make donations for the hamster's welfare.
- A mother's meeting website with large text and easy navigation so mothers and fellow mothers can simply discuss and bitch about various topics (or people).
If you use any these yourself, I'd like to hear about it :) rob[at]rjnox.com |
